Incarnate Ward v Purdue
Bethune Cookman vs Incarnate Word CBB Prediction

The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats visit the Incarnate Word Cardinals on Friday Night. Bethune-Cookman sits at 4-5 entering tonight's contest, previously getting obliterated by North Florida 88-48 on the road. 5-6 Incarnate Word also lost their last matchup by a huge margin, falling 98-50 to Kansas State this past Sunday. Bethune-Cookman competes in a weak Southwestern Athletic Conference, while Incarnate Word is in the Southland Conference, which isn't great either. These schools rarely match up, but they're pretty even on paper, so we'll see who comes out on top tonight.

Bethune-Cookman vs Incarnate Word Key Stats

Bethune-Cookman shot an abysmal 28.1% from the field last time out, and on the year, they shoot just 41.9%, which is an area of concern. Their efficiency from three has been solid, but the fact that they only take 15 per game shouldn't be an issue for Incarnate Word. The Wildcats have three double-digit scorers, including Zion Harmon, who was once a top recruit, is currently leading the team in scoring at 12.4 points per game and 3.2 assists. While his efficiency has been poor, Harmon is one of the few players on this team that can create their own shot. Senior Marcus Garrett is also very reliable, building off his solid junior year. Look for these two to carry the scoring load again tonight where they'll be away from home.

Incarnate Word hasn't had a great year overall, and three of their victories have come against non-Division I schools. Junior Jonathan Cisse (11.5 PPG) and sophomore Charlie Yoder (11.3 PPG) are the only two players that average double figures, and the team's 68 points per game is a number they'd love to improve. Against D1 opponents, the Cardinals have been very inefficient, and in Sunday's blowout loss, they shot under 40% again while committing 20 turnovers. The good news is that they've been way better at home, but of course, the competition in these games has been very weak.

Bethune-Cookman vs Incarnate Word Betting Prediction

Neither team has been consistent this year, and both have struggled versus actual competition. Bethune-Cookman is 0-4 on the road, and lately, they've been getting destroyed on the glass. Incarnate Word also struggles to grab boards, so expect a lot of offensive rebounds and second-chance opportunities tonight. As a result, take the over here, especially considering that five of Bethune-Cookman's games have gone over. There isn't much to separate these schools, but Incarnate Word is 3-1 at home, and they should continue their winning ways on their home floor tonight.

Prediction: Incarnate Word -1.5 (-110) & Over 134.5 (-110)
