This game is all about do-it-all freshman sensation Drake Maye. Maye is arguably the best QB in College Football. Did I mention that he is a freshman? He has played well beyond his years.

Maye is a sensational athlete who can affect the game with his legs. It has been quite some time since I have seen a Freshman quarterback be able to run through his progression and throw the ball as accurately as Drake Maye has in 2022.

Can the Tar Heels neutralize the Clemson Tiger defensive line and keep Drake Maye clean in the pocket? I believe the Tar Heel offensive line is up for the challenge.

I also don't have confidence in the Clemson Tigers offense. Clemson battled extended droughts on offense.

The game script is in the wheelhouse for the North Carolina passing game, and Drake Maye controls the action. Maye is the best player on the field, despite his age.

Every time I thought I had a read on the Clemson Tigers in 2022, they surprised me, both good and bad. North Carolina are ahead of schedule with a freshman QB at the helm.

Drake Maye was always known as a terrific talent, but to have the success he has had already is stunning. The ACC title game is much more of a coin flip than many suggest. North Carolina can win this game outright. I will take the points.
