Oregon State's point guard Jordan Pope is just a freshman, but he already has been their best player this season. He's averaging 15.2 points per game, and through five contests, he's amassed 14 or more points every time he's taken the floor. He's also been a pest on defense, tallying 1.8 steals per game. Outside of Pope, sophomore Glenn Taylor Jr. averages 14.4 points, and Dexter Akanno is at 11.0, both taking on much larger workloads compared to last season. As good as Castleton and the Gators' offense is, they will be playing on zero days' rest, and the Beavers block 5.2 shots per game. Also, with the game in Portland, expect many Beavers fans to be in attendance, which should help the underdogs here.
