Nebraska vs. Boston College Prediction, Odds, Line, Pick, and Preview: November 30 | 2022-23 NCAAB Season

2022 Men
2022 Men's ACC Basketball Tournament - Second Round G Makai Ashton-Langford returns for his sixth season of collegiate basketball.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers (4-3) will host the Boston College Eagles (5-2) on Wednesday afternoon in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Boston College will play its first actual road game of the season after playing at home or on a neutral court to start the year. After finishing third in the Paradise Jam tournament last week, the Eagles triumphed over Rhode Island 53-49 on Sunday. Leading scorer and sixth-year senior Makai Aston-Langford, a former top recruit in the class of 2017, filled the stat sheet in the win. He finished with nine points, three rebounds, four assists, three steals, and three blocks in 35 minutes.

Sophomore Jaedon Zackery had a team-high 16 points and 36 minutes played. Redshirt freshman Devin McGlockton hit the go-ahead layup in the game's final minutes to secure the Eagles' win. He added 11 points off the bench.

BC is looking to finish over .500 for the first time since 2017. They are led by head coach Earl Grant, who previously held the same title at the College of Charleston, where he won 58% of his games.

Nebraska most recently vanquished the Florida State Seminoles 75-58 to win the ESPN Events Invitational seventh-place game on Sunday night.

Sixth-year senior Derrick Walker dropped a double-double, finishing with a game-high 20 points and 13 rebounds on a ridiculous 83% from the field. North Dakota State transfer Sam Griesel, redshirt sophomore C.J. Wilcher, Juco product Keisei Tominaga, and Alabama transfer Juwan Gary also joined Walker in double-figures. They held the now 1-7 Florida State team to under 40% from the field and a laughable 3-of-21 from deep.

Nebraska vs. BC Prediction

The BC Eagles are battle-tested on the road. They may have been on a neutral court, but they beat Wyoming and George Mason by double digits in the Virgin Islands. Their AdjSQ numbers have been beautiful this season, which adjusts for the strength of their schedule.

Defensively, the Eagles should suffocate the Nebraska Cornhusker offense. BC's defensive shot-type strengths match what Nebraska does at a high-frequency clip on O. The under is appealing, but 5.5 points is a lot to give an Eagles squad playing well of late.

Prediction: BC +5.5 (-110)
