Baltimore Ravens vs. New Orleans Saints Key Stats

The Ravens' offense, led by star QB Lamar Jackson, has excelled this year. Jackson threw a lot of picks last season, but this season he's done a lot better with his decision-making. The former MVP has thrown 15 TDs to just six interceptions. He's also coming off a solid performance versus Tampa Bay, where he tossed 238 yards on 27-for-38 while throwing a pair of touchdowns and rushing for 43 yards as well. Baltimore has featured running back Gus Edwards in the backfield primarily over their last two games, but Edwards is listed as doubtful for tonight. Edwards has averaged 4.9 yards per carry this year, albeit on 27 total carries, but this is definitely a blow for the Ravens. Kenyan Drake, who has played well, should see more touches and snaps, with Edwards most likely sidelined tonight. With tight end and leading receiver Mark Andrews out, too, Lamar will have to carry this offense once again.

The Saints' defense has been pretty average on the year, but they did just shutout the Raiders previously. It won't be easy to replicate this performance versus Jackson and the Ravens, but we'll see if they can at least contain him.

New Orleans has now gone with QB Andy Dalton under center for five straight weeks, and he's been solid, but the team only has two wins out of their last seven. Alvin Kamara is a big piece of the Saints' offense, both with his legs and as a receiving threat. Rookie wideout Chris Olave has been great too, so expect these three players to be key for the Saints as they seek their fourth win of the season. Baltimore's defense has been poor against the rush, so this could be an area that the Saints can exploit on Monday.

Baltimore Ravens vs. New Orleans Saints Betting Prediction

Both teams have covered under 50% of their games this year, but the Ravens have the talent advantage, and they've been very competitive in every game this year. Behind Jackson, back the visitors to win tonight as they've won three of four and have been clicking lately on both sides of the ball.

Prediction: Ravens ML (-120)
