Week 6 MNF Broncos at Chargers player props - October 17 | 2022 NFL Football Season

Indianapolis Colts v Denver Broncos
Best Player Props for the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos

Plenty of player props are available for this Monday Night Showdown between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Denver Broncos. Both AFC West teams have had mixed results this year, but they'll look to put on a show in primetime. The Broncos haven't had much success in recent years going on the road to face the Chargers, so we'll see if that trend holds true or changes tonight. Below, we'll go through the best player props to target for this matchup.

Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Chargers Match Details

Fixture: Denver Broncos @ Los Angeles Chargers

Date & Time: Monday, October 17, 8:15 p.m. EDT

Venue: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California

NFL Player Prop #1: Courtland Sutton Over 4.5 Receptions (-135)

Courtland Sutton has been very consistent for Denver this year, and he's accounted for about one-third of his team's total receptions and receiving yards. Sutton has seen 9.2 targets per game and 5.8 receptions entering tonight's contest, which are great signs. He's also recorded five or more catches in four straight weeks, and the Chargers have a pretty mediocre pass defense. Expect Sutton to get to five receptions again tonight, as he's been Russell Wilson's main target all year.

NFL Player Prop #2: Justin Herbert Over 35.5 Passing Attempts (-105)

Justin Herbert is one of the best young quarterbacks in the league, and the Chargers always center their gameplan around him. He's currently averaging 40 attempts per game, and even though he's up against a tough Broncos defense, he should still be able to move the ball effectively. Last week, Matt Ryan attempted 41 passes in a 12-9 overtime contest, and there should be a lot more scoring tonight, so look for Herbert to attempt close to that number. Expect Herbert to attempt 36 passes or more for what would be the fourth time in five games.

NFL Player Prop #3: KJ Hamler Under 1.5 Receptions (+135)

KJ Hamler has played four out of Denver's five games, but he's seen just four targets and two total receptions. He's barely been getting snaps, too, as he's seen just 38% of all offensive snaps this season. At best Hamler is the Broncos' fourth-best receiving option, and he's yet to reel in two catches in any game this season. Expect this trend to continue on Monday on the road.
