If there was a surface where Andy Murray seems to have made a significant improvement in the last 12-18 months, it is clay and the proof for that was seen on Sunday when he beat defending champion Novak Djokovic to win his maiden Rome Masters title.
The Scot defeated the Serbian in straight sets 6-3 6-3 to win his maiden title and it remains to be seen ,whether in a few days time he will be able to replicate those exploits in the clay of Roland Garros.
