PSA update: Mahesh Mangaonkar progresses, Sachika Ingale falls

Mahesh Mangaonkar is truly getting into his groove. The fifth seeded Indian, making a determined bid to get into top gear, upset second seed Raphael Kandra of Germany to move into the semi-final of the Sekisui Squash Open, a PSA world tour event being held at Kriens in Switzerland.

The Indian won 11-7, 11-13, 11-9, 11-6

The 65th ranked Mumbai lad, who had a semi-final finish in the Cactus Classic event in the US in February seems ready to make it even better this time round.He faces an unseeded player in the semi-final (Geoffrey Demont of France).

Meanwhile at Calgary in Canada in the Women's Squash Week event, another PSA world tour fixture, it was ill luck for another Indian Sachika Ingale. Having qualified for the main draw she had made it to the quarter-final but was stopped there by wild card entrant Danielle Letourneau of Canada. The Canadian won 11-6, 11-5, 12-10.
