Zlatan Ibrahimovic confirms PSG exit, Manchester United and LA Galaxy interested

The striker will move to a new club after the season-end

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed that he will be leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the current season. The Swede will be playing his final game at the Parc de Princes on Saturday against Nantes. He will be playing his last game for the club on May 21st in the Coupe de France final against Marseille.

There was intense speculation regarding his future with the club as the striker’s contract at PSG expires in the summer and now Ibrahimovic has emphatically put all doubts to bed with this tweet.

The enigmatic forward has been in breathtaking form this season, scoring an incredible 46 goals in just 42 appearances. In the league alone, it has been one-way traffic once again, as Ibra leads the charts with 36 goals, with the next best Alexandre Lacazette 15 goals behind on 21.

The 34-year-old has already won four Ligue 1 championships, three Coupe de la Ligue cups, three Trophee des Champion, not to forget, one more Coupe de France which he can still add to his tally come May 21.

He has been linked with a move to Manchester United and MLS side LA Galaxy, as well as a return to former club Inter Milan. Manchester United, in particular, have been constantly linked with the Swede, after suffering in the final third this season.

Ibrahimovic has a choice between the Premier League, MLS and even Qatar and China, places where the striker hasn’t yet plied his trade, reports suggest.

But Zlatan himself dropped a big hint earlier this week that he could make a return to former club AC Milan as they are the “biggest” club he has ever played for in his illustrious career. He said, "I have a good relationship with Milan and I care about them. They are the biggest club I played for.

“It wasn't me who wanted to leave when I left Milan, it was other people, but it went the way it went. Now we'll see how the future is. You never know if the future will be the same as the past, but let's see. All will be revealed soon.”

His agent Mino Raiola had also earlier suggested that Ibrahimovic he could be open to a move back to San Siro. Could we see Zlatan Ibrahimovic back in Serie A? Or will he choose pastures new? Only time will tell.
