In the November 25 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke Logan went to Ridge Forrester with a confession about Forrester Creations. The storyline has been building towards a coup due to the infighting in the company, something that Brooke wished to discuss with Ridge.

After Hope Logan was fired from Forrester Creations, her boyfriend Carter came up with a plan to get her what she deserved. Being a lawyer at Forrester himself, he drafted documents that essentially transferred ownership of the company to him. Carter wanted to snatch the Forresters' company away from them for taking away Hope's career.
Hope's mother, Brooke, overheard this plan and went to Ridge with it. Now, Ridge shall have to decide to unravel the sticky situation he has found himself in. Either, he might have to re-hire Hope and incur his daughter Steffy's anger, or find a legal loophole to the document that Carter has made him sign.

Brooke spoke to Ridge at Forrester Creations, admitting that she overheard Carter and Hope talking about taking over the company. Ridge tried to argue that Carter was loyal to him, but Brooke insisted that she heard every word and he needed to believe her. She realized that Carter had taken control of Forrester Creations and needed to alert Ridge immediately.
Brooke gave Ridge details about the papers he signed for Carter, which transferred ownership of the company from the Forresters to him. She told him the truth about Hope dressing for Carter when Finn walked in on her. She had stumbled into him out of shock, just as Steffy entered the room. In a massive misunderstanding, Steffy assumed that Hope was trying to seduce her husband and had fired her.
Brooke went on to say that Hope and Carter felt disrespected when their voice and campaign for Hope's fashion line were left unheard. Even though Brooke supported them initially, she felt that their taking over Forrester Creations behind Ridge's back was unethical.
Ridge then started to realize that Carter betrayed him with falsified paperwork. He also registered that he had been betrayed by someone in his own company and had been so trusting that he had failed to see what was happening right before his own eyes. Now, Ridge might have to do some quick thinking to ensure that Carter and Hope don't take the company away from him as they intend to.
