Class of 2026 prospects Qayden Samuels and Prince-Alexander Moody led their team to an excellent comeback win on Sunday.

Made Hoops shared their performance at the Team Camp event. Samuels and Moody played well on offense and scored consistently. The duo combined for 25 points and helped Bishop McNamara come out on top.

Samuels is a 6-foot-5 shooting guard, who is the No. 15 prospect, the No. 4 shooting guard in his class and the No. 1 prospect in Maryland, according to On3.

At the Nike EYBL circuit, playing for Team Takeover, he impressed many with his performance. He averaged 21.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 11 games. He was fifth among the top scorers at the 17U level. With Samuels' efforts, Team Takeover finished with a 10-1 record.

He talked about his recent AAU performance.

“Summer’s been going well," Samuels said on Monday, via Zagsblog. "One more session and then it’s Peach Jam from there, so it’s go time. I want to win. That’s it. That’s the whole reason I’m playing AAU right now. I want to win my last year at Peach Jam.”

In the 2024 Peach Jam tournament, he averaged 16.0 ppg and 7.0 rpg.

Meanwhile, Moody is the the No. 110 prospect and No. 27 shooting guard in the 2026 class. The shooting guard has received offers from Indiana, Georgetown, Maryland, Illinois, Providence, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Michigan State, Georgia and Syracuse.

Qayden Samuels’ recruitment heats up with Georgetown, Villanova in the lead

Qayden Samuels has received several offers from top programs. This includes Georgetown, Villanova, Maryland, VCU, Rutgers, Florida State and Kansas, among others.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Hoyas have a 38.1% chance to land him, followed by the Wildcats at 33.3%. The Terrapins, Rams and several others trail behind.

"I love Georgetown," Samuels said on Monday, via Zagsblog. "Georgetown is always showing love. They invite me to everything. I’m at every game front, courtside. It’s amazing. I love Georgetown. I love Ed Cooley. He’s himself and I feel like if I have a coach like that who can be himself around me and trust me, I’ll be good."

While he has not announced his commitment, Samuels said that he's seeking “a coach that will trust me and let me play as a freshman."
