Nasir Wyatt announced his commitment to the Oregon Ducks in May

Four-star linebacker Nasir Wyatt pledged his allegiance to the Oregon Ducks on May 3, 2024. He chose the Ducks over top programs such as USC, UCLA, Georgia, Alabama, Michigan, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Texas.

He spoke about his reason to commit to the Eugene-based program and praised the Ducks for their stability and freshness.

"Oregon has shown me everything I needed to see," the four-star linebacker told On3. "I have had them on top of my list for a while, but I was young, I was still exploring my options, but Oregon is where I want to be. The program is stable, it is fresh, it is building, it is growing and I feel the vibe there.
"I followed my heart. I felt wanted. The coaches at Oregon are excited to have me. It was never about money or NIL for me, but it was about my heart. Oregon has what I want."

The Ducks' Class of 2025 is ranked No. 8 in the country, as per 247Sports. They have acquired 16 commitments, including three five-star recruits Dakorien Moore, Dallas Wilson and Brandon Finney.
