Bad Memory Eraser episode 4 recap: Lee Goon starts his new agency and signs a contract with Cha Si-on
Picking up with Kyung Ju-yeon and Lee Goon in the fourth episode of Bad Memory Eraser, the latter continues to block Ju-yeon's view, so she can't see her crush Tae-oh kissing another girl in the car.
Goon manages to refrain Ju-yeon from seeing Tae-oh and warns her not to trust him or listen to him. Ju-yeon tells Goon not to cross the line. She tells him that though she is his first love, Goon must stop clinging to the past. While Goon tries to stop Ju-yeon, her key chain mistakenly hits Goon’s face, resulting in a small cut.
The next day, upset Goon once again sneaks out of the hospital and reaches home to take a shower and dress up. Lee Shin, Goon’s younger brother, encounters Goon at home and informs Professor Han that Goon wishes to go out. Goon’s best friend, Guk-bong, takes him to the tennis court, where Shin has his tennis match.
Lee Goon meets the president of the Big Picture Sports agency at the court, where the president reminds him of the task he assigned Goon. As seen in episode 3 of Bad Memory Eraser, the president asks Goon to get the contract signed by Cha Si-on, and in return, he will give Goon employment for life.
Goon goes to meet Cha Si-on, who is practicing in the next court. When he asks Si-on to sign the contract with the agency, she challenges him to play a tennis game with her. If he wins, she will sign it. Goon agrees to it.
Both Shin and Goon are shown playing tennis simultaneously. While Goon plays with Cha Si-on, Shin is playing in the tournament, which he eventually wins. Goon, on the other side, realizes that he isn’t able to play tennis.
Outside the court, Goon meets Sae-yan, who came there to meet Lee Shin. But soon she is pushed out as she doodles on Shin’s poster.
Meanwhile, Shin is in his locker room, where his mother is nagging at him for playing slowly during his match. She tells him that he must play well for his reputation. Ju-yeon overhears this conversation as she comes up looking for Goon.
In the next scene, Shin encounters Ju-yeon at a convenience store. They both spend a lot of time together, and Shin accompanies her to the hospital. Some chemistry can be seen building up between the two.
Goon, on the other side, enjoys his meal with the hospital staff and returns to the hospital. There he meets Shin, and they both cherish a happy memory of their childhood. Goon tells Shin to do whatever he wants to do and achieve his dreams.
Meanwhile, Sae-yan, who is staying at Ju-yeon’s house, is sitting with her mother. The mother tells Sae-yan that Ju-yeon witnessed her father’s death when she was a kid. Therefore, this made her overly protective of her mother.
The next day, Cha Si-on and Lee Goon meet the Big Picture Sports Agency’s president and tell him about Goon’s new agency. And Si-on signed her contract with Goon’s new agency. In the meantime, Professor Han urgently asks Ju-yeon to submit the documents she got from the UK for budget approval.
Ju-yeon’s luggage contains these documents that were switched with Goon’s bag in episode 1. Ju-yeon lies to Goon’s mother to request his ID, as she needs papers quickly. His mother tells her the passcode for her house.
At the same time, Shin is playing his final match, but he gets distracted during the match and ends up losing it. He decides to do what he wants to do. Therefore, after the match, he leaves for his home.
Ju-yeon enters Goon’s house and finally finds her luggage. As she is leaving his house, Goon enters the house. Shin also reaches home and notices Sae-yan standing at the gate. This is where the fourth episode of Bad Memory Eraser ends.
The next episodes of Bad Memory Eraser will air next Friday and Saturday on the MBN TV network at 9:40 pm KST. Fans can also follow this show on the Viki OTT platform.
