Moon Ga-bi's son reportedly entitled to Jung Woo-sung's inheritance as actor is expected to pay over 3 million KRW per month in child support

On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, Herald Economy reported that Tell Me That You Love Me actor Jung Woo-sung is expected to pay 3 million KRW (approximately $2,143.83) per month in child support to Moon Ga-bi.

On November 24, a Dispatch report alleged that he was the biological father of the 35-year-old Korean model's child. Hence, Moon Ga-bi's son might have an inheritance claim on Jung Woo-sung's assets.

Herald Economy quoted Sungjin Law Firm's attorney, Yang So-young, who suggested that the actor pay child support per the "standards set by the court."

"It seems likely that Jung Woo-sung will have to pay between 2 and 3 million won in child support at most. [...] It is highly likely that he will pay the agreed-upon amount, but if no agreement has been reached, he must pay every month until the child turns 18 according to the child support standards set by the court," the attorney said.

He alleged that Moon Ga-bi's son has a 100% claim on Jung Woo-sung's inheritance because the actor is still single at 51 and only has one child.

"Since the maximum monthly income according to the child support standard is 12 million won, the current maximum is 3 million won. However, we can discuss it with the custodian and pay more. Since Jung Woo-sung currently has one illegitimate child, the illegitimate child’s legal inheritance share is 100%."

As per the outlet, attorney Yang So-young appeared in a YouTube interview with Lee Jin-ho on November 25 when he made the statements.

Jung Woo-sung allegedly has a child with Moon Ga-bi out of wedlock while having a long-time girlfriend for 10 years

On November 25, 2024, Ten Asia reported that Jung Woo-sung had been officially dating a non-celebrity for over a decade. The couple has reportedly been spotted on dinner dates with the Squid Game actor Lee Jung-jae and his girlfriend, Lim Se-ryung (Daesang heiress and businesswoman).

According to the outlet, Jung Woo-sung's long-time girlfriend wasn't aware of his alleged affair with Korean model Moon Ga-bi. He reportedly met Moon Ga-bi in 2022 during a work event, and in July 2023, she got pregnant. The 35-year-old model allegedly expressed her wish to marry The King actor and start a family, but he reportedly turned it down.

According to reports, the actor offered Moon Ga-bi money but declined to accept any responsibility for the child. She allegedly decided to cut off all communication with him. In March 2024, after their son was born, she reportedly attempted to contact him.

Jung Woo-sung allegedly offered to find suitable postpartum care facilities for Moon Ga-bi but refused to marry her even after the child's birth. On November 22, 2024, Moon Ga-bi returned to social media after three years and shared a picture of her with her son and a heartfelt caption. She mentioned choosing to be "brave" for her child and give him the best life.

"I just wanted to show my child the bright and beautiful world I saw the other day and I thought I would have to be brave to do so. [...] Going forward in life, I will face numerous people and be asked as many questions, but I feel like my heart is a little relieved by publishing my story like this. Just like this with this little one who gave me a new world," her post's caption read.

She gained recognition for her performance and unconventional looks by appearing on a variety show in 2016. She became popular through reality shows like High School Style Icon Contest and Law of the Jungle.

Since 2020, she has remained inactive in the entertainment business and disappeared from social media in 2022.
