BTS maknae line members Jimin and Jungkook concluded their military service at the 5th Infantry Division on June 11, 2025. The two BTS vocalists officially greeted the press in Yeoncheon at a public stadium. Notably, Jungkook and Jimin were not the only BTS members who addressed the media post-military service. BTS’ Jimin and Jungkook open up on serving on the front line in the military service
Jimin and Jungkook of BTS were seen at the HYBE LABELS headquarters in Seoul after their military discharge in Yeoncheon. Jungkook and Jimin turned on a live video session to interact with fans.
The FACE singer opened up about the surprising news of the two BTS members being deployed on the front line in the army.
He said,
“I didn’t know, right? I enlisted with Jungkook because I thought it would be really nice to be together… But who would’ve known we’d be sent to the front lines? We didn’t even consider that, so it was kind of shocking."
Jimin further revealed that the experience was unbelievable. He recalled the reaction of soldiers and stated that they were not surprised about the BTS members being celebrities. Instead, the soldiers felt pity for the two K-pop idols and questioned why they would go there out of concern.
