The nominations for the 2025 SEC Awards were officially revealed on June 9. Voting is set to begin on June 13 through the event’s official website. Among this year’s highlights is the strong showing of K-pop artists in the International Song of the Year category—five of the eight nominees come from the Korean music industry.
BTS’ Jimin and Jungkook have both secured nominations. Jimin is nominated for his record-breaking solo single Who, and Jungkook for his fan-dedicated track Never Let Go.
Fans eager to support their favorite artists can participate by voting online through the SEC Awards website, where a countdown is already active as of the announcement.

Meanwhile, Jungkook’s Never Let Go was released during BTS FESTA in June 2024. The fan-dedicated track quickly rose to number one on iTunes charts in 96 regions, adding to his growing success as a solo artist.
BLACKPINK’s Jennie earned her 2025 SEC Awards nomination with Like Jennie, a dynamic hip-hop single released in March 2025. Lisa’s Rockstar, her first major solo project after departing YG Entertainment, reached number one on the Global Excl. US chart.
