On Tuesday, November 26, BTS' j-hope released a snippet of his dance challenge to Tyler, The Creator's Sticky. He dropped a two-second video through his Weverse account showcasing only the very beginning of the dance challenge.

After a few hours, the idol revealed the entire video of his Sticky dance challenge on his Instagram account, exhilarating the fans. However, it was also deleted in the next hour, Tyler, The Creator released a song called Sticky, which was sung in collaboration with various other artists such as GloRilla, Sexyy Red, and Lil Wayne. The song is one of the tracks from his recent album, CHROMOKOPIA.

Ever since the song's release, it has been going viral with several artists, including K-pop idols, participating in the dance challenge. Given that BTS' j-hope is known for his powerful dance style, many fans have been hoping for the idol to take part in the Sticky Dance Challenge.

Therefore, when the idol released a snippet of his dance cover, the internet blew up with reactions. While some talked about how the cover already looked impressive in just the two seconds that were revealed on Weverse, many others were praying for the full version to be released. All you need to know about BTS' j-hope's recent activities following his military discharge

BTS' j-hope was discharged from the military on October 17. The idol enlisted back in April 2023 and served as an Instructor at Wonju, in the Gangwon province. He was later, midway through his enlistment, promoted to a Seargent. During his discharge, his fellow group member, Jin, received him at the entrance of his military base.

Following the same, j-hope has slowly been starting his idol activities. He went live twice on Weverse since his discharge to spend some time with ARMYs while doing his everyday activities like skincare, having dinner, etc. Additionally, the idol attended the Audemars Piguet x KAWS event, a grand opening of the brand's first flagship store in Seoul.

There, he was spotted with the ASTRO member and South Korean actor, Cha Eun-woo. On the other hand, the idol was also invited as a guest on Lee Hyun's radio show, My Close Friend on November 25. There he talked about many things including his plans for solo releases, dance challenges, etc. When the idol was asked if he would be participating in more dance challenges, here's what he said:

"Should I open my own TikTok accout? I will try to do more challenges."

Therefore, fans have been hopeful about j-hope possibly kickstarting his personal TikTok account and participating in dance challenges. On the other hand, though the idol didn't give a clear answer for his plans to release new music, he hinted that he was clear on what he wanted to do after his discharge.


He also stated that fans' letters and requests on his solo career really resonated with him. Therefore, fans have been looking forward to what j-hope has in store for them.
