On August 7, 2028, HYBE, released an interview featuring Pdogg and GHSTLOOP, the primary producers of BTS' Jimin's albums on Weverse, the fan-idol interaction app. In the interview, they discussed the creation of the singer's solo albums, FACE and the recent one, MUSE.
When asked about the idol's likely disappointment over not being able to perform his new songs live because of the album's release coinciding with his military service, Pdogg acknowledged the situation.
He explained that although the BTS star couldn’t dance in the clip as he was singing with a band, Pdogg hinted that a choreographed version of the song might be introduced if Jimin undertakes a tour in the future. He stated,
"Yes, it’s a shame, really. That’s actually why we made the video clip of him singing “Slow Dance”: because he really wanted to put on a show. He couldn’t dance during it since he’s singing with a band, but there might be a kind of slow dance added to the song if he goes on tour later on."
He further added that the decision to create a video clip of the BTS star performing Slow Dance was driven by the artist's strong desire to present a performance despite the constraints.
Fans quickly turned to social media when they saw this as a potential hint at Jimin's future tour after he finishes his military service. A user on X commented,
"Is this a hint ??"
"Jimin's tour will be iconic, imagine : lie, serendipity, filter, like crazy, smfpt2, WHO, be mine and more... in the same concert, omg," a fan commented.
"Where tour-what date-when open the ticket-which country-give more details plisss pdogg , i need save my money also," another X user wrote.
"WE ARE GETTING JIMIN TOUR," a fan remarked.
The producers further mentioned while working on the albums, they envisioned them as akin to a BTS concert, which is reflected in the lyrics and themes, including the memorable “tinge purple” reference and the children’s choir.
This led fans to speculate about a potential world tour with BTS once all members had completed their military service.
"I need bts to have 4 hrs long concert where they perform all their new songs and all the solo albums in their entirety," a fan added.
"Next BTS tour will definitely have a solo song from members, i mean not part of bts album but thier own individual album.....," another user commented.
"oh my heart," another user wrote.
Additional insights from the producers of Jimin's albums in the interview
Pdogg and GHSTLOOP, who also made their music video debut with Jimin's Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, discussed the artist's dedication and work ethic during their interview.
Pdogg noted the singer's commitment to showing significant growth by the time he finishes his service. He shared how the idol's routine, including early morning English and daily singing lessons, impressed him.
When asked why he worked so hard, Jimin explained his desire to expand his expressive abilities to meet producers' expectations and bring his musical ideas to life.
The interviewer questioned about how well MUSE showcases the artist's signature sultry vocals, GHSTLOOP responded that Jimin's focus was on honing his strengths in singing and exploring ways to develop his vocal style. He stated,
"His main focus was on identifying what he’s best at when it comes to singing and to use that. He was also confident that he could find ways to introduce change into his vocal style."
Pdogg added that the BTS singer felt he didn't fully realize his vision with FACE. For his latest album, he experimented with different keys to better align with his artistic goals.
The BTS member has been fulfilling his mandatory military service since December 2023 and is to rejoin the group and return to the public eye after his discharge in June 2025.
