BTS’ Kim Taehyung officially completed his military duty on June 10, 2025, alongside bandmate RM. V was seen stepping out of the base holding a large bouquet of flowers after finishing his enlistment.

After this, Tae started a solo livestream to interact with fans. The stream followed his live appearance with RM on Weverse, which also featured Jin. However, during his individual stream, viewers noticed changes in how he spoke and moved.

According to fans, his tone sounded calmer, and his manner looked more composed than before enlistment. Fans across social media pointed out that the Daegu native talked slower and seemed more thoughtful.

The K-pop idol began his service in December 2023 and served for about 18 months. He was released from the 2nd Corps’ Military Police branch located in Chuncheon. V had been assigned to the Special Duty Team, a high-level unit that selects only trainees who pass rigorous fitness and combat skill tests.

The team handles missions such as security protection, field raids, and emergency response work. After his basic training, the artist successfully completed these advanced evaluations.
