On November 30, 2024, BTS' Kim Taehyung's recent track, Winter Ahead, broke the record for the biggest jazz debut in the history of Spotify, recording 4.2 million streams. BTS' Kim Taehyung would release a new version of Bing Crosby's White Christmas
On November 7, 2024, BigHit Music announced that BTS' Kim Taehyung would release a fresh version of the late Bing Crosby's White Christmas. The track is the remake of the hit 1942 track of the same name. The physical album would be available in four versions, including Pink and Snowflake, and two vinyl versions, such as Zoetrope Snowflake and Picture Disc.
V previously covered It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas, of which Crosby recorded a version of in 1951. He shared a video of his version on YouTube two days before Christmas in 2022.
Kim Taehyung is slated to release White Christmas on December 6, 2024, at 2 pm KST.
