Miss Night and Day star Baek Seo-hoo is garnering attention from viewers for his character's increasing involvement with the female lead character. The story revolves around Lee Mi-jin, played by Jung Eun-ji, a woman in her 20s who magically finds herself in the body of a lady in her 50s. Lee Mi-jin turns into the old woman Lim Sun (Lee Jung-eun) during the day and turns back to herself at night.

Meanwhile, Baek Seo-hoo played the role of Ko Won, who is a member of the fictional K-pop group Kingland, currently fulfilling his military conscription as social service personnel at the same prosecutor's office.

Since Choi Jin-hyuk’s character Gye Ji-ung is the main male character in the story and Baek Seo-hoo’s Ko Won appears to be a secondary character, the latter has caught the attention of the fans.

Fans have taken to social media to express their thoughts on Ko Won’s scenes with Lee Mi-jin and Lim Sun. As the chances of Gye Ji-ung ending up with Lee Mi-jin are higher, viewers have displayed their increasing “Second Lead Syndrome” for Baek Seo-hoo's Ko Won.

Viewers get second lead syndrome when they wish for the second lead character to end up with the main female lead or when they have developed a soft space for the character. Fans continued to show their love for Baek Seo-hoo’s character.

“NOT THE SECOND LEAD SYNDROME ㅠㅠㅠ but what can I do??? Kowon is the cutest,” a user stated.
“Once again the male second lead always realizes things more quickly than the male lead,” a fan said.

As the story develops, Gye Ji-ung falls for Lee Mi-jin. However, he has shown more interest in the younger version. Lee Mi-jin also liked him back. Fans have highlighted that Ko Won has shown interest in Lim Sun as well as Lee Mi-jin.

“Falling in love because of physical appearance is nothing special. But falling in love because of a beautiful heart, is truly amazing,” a fan said.
