On Thursday, November 14, BLACKPINK's Lisa's interview with Billboard was released where she talked about her journey as a soloist. When asked about her experience of embarking on a solo career after being active as a K-pop girl group member, she expressed that she was very anxious and nervous about her solo journey.
“At first, I was scared and nervous because I never really come out here to do my own stuff. And now I’m having fun. When (my singles) came out, the reaction from the fans, it’s healing me. It’s like, ‘Oh, my God. Yeah — I did a great job!,’" she said.
Additionally, she also talked about BLACKPINK's activities last year as they wrapped up their Born Pink World Tour and celebrated their seventh debut anniversary.
