BLACKPINK's Lisa, who is also the founder and CEO of LLOUD, made waves with her recent appearance at the TAG Heuer dinner party for the Gran Premio de F1 de Mónaco 2024. On May 26, 2024, the Thai rapper and K-pop idol caught attention for her glittering outfit from her home country. The outfit is made of 80% used water bottle lids and 20% used clear food containers from local households.

Pipatchara is a Thai fashion brand that specializes in creating wearable art pieces from recyclable plastic and trash. Lisa was seen mingling with J Balvin, Deborah Hung, and LVMH scion Frédéric Bernard Jean Étienne Arnault, among others. Frédéric Arnault is also the CEO of TAG Heuer, which organized the evening yacht party in Monaco.

Lisa stunned everyone by flaunting her outfit made out of recyclable plastic water bottle caps and food container lids. She furthermore emphasized her role as an advocate of climate change, for which she was bestowed with Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) at the COP26 summit on November 23, 2023.

The Thailand-based fashion was founded in 2018 by Pipatchara and her sister Jittrinee. The brand creates 100% handcrafted designs and wearable art pieces and uses recycled materials and plant-based resources in the creation of each bag. Each item is produced by regional communities in Thailand, further demonstrating the brand's dedication to fostering employment in rural areas.

This isn't the first time that Lisa has promoted a Thai fashion brand at the global frontier. Earlier, the Money rapper wore a custom-made dress from ASAVA at the COP26 summit on November 23, 2023, where she was honored with Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by King Charles III alongside her bandmates Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé.

The Thai wearable art creation brand, Pipatchara, posted on their official Instagram handle about the outfit. The dress was made out of 80% used water bottle lids, 20% used clear food containers from local households, and 1,800 pieces of trash mainly acquired from water bottles, beer bottle lids, clear rice boxes, plastic probiotic drink containers, and more.

"Made out of ♻️ 80% used water bottles lids | 20% used clear food containers from local household. We’ve used more than 1,800 (pieces of trash🗑️ ) mainly from water bottles lids. All natural colours. The team worked hard to scale the set from light to dark to give the set a striking impact at the After Party. We used over 1,800 pieces of rubbish, mostly from water bottle caps and clear rice boxes." (as auto-translated by Instagram)

Later, the BLACKPINK idol was also seen posing for the paparazzi in Monaco with the Belgian-Dutch racer for Red Bull, Max Verstappen. Previously, on May 6, 2024, Lisa was one of the stars of the dazzling entertainment sector lineup at the 2024 F1 Miami Grand Prix. She attracted attention with her bold wardrobe choices and by being the first K-pop idol to wave the chequered flag at the Grand Prix.

In other news, BLACKPINK's Lisa is currently working on her debut solo album, which she wishes to release by the end of 2024. After departing from YG Entertainment and ending her solo contract with them, she founded her company, LLOUD, and completed filming for the HBO series The White Lotus season 3. Her debut solo album will be released in association with RCA Records, which signed a deal with LLOUD.
