On May 26, 2024, Ryeowook of Super Junior got married to Ari, a former member of TAHITI, in a lovely wedding that was attended by close friends and family. Although Ryeowook and Ari had been dating since 2020, they didn't discuss the possibility of marriage until March 2024.

Fans cheered after seeing Super Junior members in attendance at the wedding, and they were delighted to see the reunion of the iconic second-generation K-pop group.

Furthermore, fans were touched when Heechul sang the group's famous song, Sorry, Sorry, along with the other members at the celebrations. Band member Leetuk served as the wedding's MC, and former S.E.S member Bada also performed a song of congratulations at the wedding ceremony.

More about K-pop's iconic second-generation group, Super Junior

Ryeowook and Ari's wedding was everything that fans expected as they saw Super Junior members huddle together to pose for the cameras. The occasion was extra special as it saw all members of the group reunite for the first time since 2009.

At the wedding, the group performed their famous song, Sorry, Sorry, for the groom and his bride. Guests and fans weren't expecting Heechul to join in due to his leg injury. However, he did, much to the delight of everyone.

For the unversed, Heechul got into a terrible car accident in 2006 which resulted in him getting metal rods in his leg. To this date, the rapper and entertainer cannot dance properly due to the continued pain caused by the metallic rods.

Nonetheless, Heechul got up from his seat and joined the group on stage to sing his lines just as Ryeowook was about to cover his verses from Sorry, Sorry. Hence, this moment made their fans extremely emotional.

The South Korean boy band Super Junior, usually referred to as SJ or SuJu, is made up of 10 members: Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sunmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun.

Initially, the group had 13 members, which included Han Geng, Kim, and Kangin. However, Han Geng left the group in 2011, followed by Kim in 2015, and Kangin, who departed from the group in 2019.

Furthermore, Zhoumi and Henry joined the subunit group Super Junior-M as the 14th and 15th members, although Henry did not renew his contract and left the group in 2018. During Ryeowook and Ari's wedding on May 26, 2024, it was the first time that all 15 members of the legendary group were seen together in a single frame.

Lee Soo-man, the founder of SM Entertainment, debuted the group in 2005 as a 12-member group with rotating members. The idea was shelved once Kyuhyun was added in 2006 as the 13th member.

The group released The Road (their eleventh studio album) on January 6, 2023. Later, a documentary named Super Junior: The Last Man Standing premiered on Disney+ on January 18, 2023. Members of the group shared their innermost feelings and ideas in the documentary, which chronicled the band's 18-year-long history.
