BTS' Jin reportedly hosts his 6th wedding as an officiator

BTS’ Jin has long been known for taking on the role of a host at weddings. The recently mentioned wedding of his long-time manager reportedly marked the sixth time he has served as a wedding MC. In the past, he has hosted weddings for his old classmates, close friends, his older brother, his cousin, and even his health trainer.

Fans only became aware of this recent event after photos and videos of him from the ceremony began circulating online. Even some of his remarks during the event started to go viral. His introductory speech went as follows:

"On behalf of both families, I would like to extend my gratitude. I am Kim Seokjin of BTS, a colleague of the groom, and I have the honor of serving as today’s host. We kindly ask that you respond with warm applause and enthusiastic support throughout the ceremony. Thank you."

As expected for the occasion, the star wore a classic black-and-white tuxedo, a look that fans widely praised. An important notable thing about this was that he had been in the United States before this event, making it highly likely that he traveled back to South Korea specifically to fulfill his promise and attend his manager’s wedding.

Fans also pointed out how the senior members of BTS (the hyung line) have often taken on the role of wedding MCs in the recent past. In July 2025, for instance, BTS’ stylist Kim Venchy got married, with BTS leader RM, or Namjoon, officiating the wedding.

That ceremony was attended by members j-hope, Suga, and RM, while Jin was absent due to his solo tour, RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR. Since fans missed seeing him at that previous wedding event, many said that he made up for it by making an appearance at this one.

BTS is currently preparing for their 2026 spring comeback in the United States. The members have been stationed there for quite some time now, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what they have been working on and when it will finally be released.
