Tom Felton is set to return as his fan-favorite character, Draco Malfoy, on the Broadway stage. The actor will be playing the role of Draco in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway.
Making his Broadway debut with this role, Tom Felton will join the cast of the play from November 11, 2025, to March 22, 2026. He first appeared as the young member of the Malfoy family in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in 2001.
The Harry Potter fandom remembers Draco Malfoy as a Slytherin student from Hogwarts, who transitions from being a mischievous antagonist to a hesitant member on Voldemort's side.
In Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Draco Malfoy leads an adult life with his family. His son, Scorpius, becomes the best friend of Harry Potter's son, Albus. Draco's character becomes more prominent in this story as he joins Harry, Hermione, and Ron to search for his son.
Tom Felton's Draco Malfoy becomes a responsible father in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway

Tom Felton will now play an adult Draco Malfoy in the Broadway play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The play, written by Jack Thorne and based on a story by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Thorne, is set 19 years after the Battle of Hogwarts, when Harry defeated Voldemort.
The main characters are now parents, sending their children to Hogwarts. Harry and Ginny's son Albus, Hermione and Ron's daughter Rose, and Draco and Astoria's son Scorpius are all new students. Albus and Scorpius take the lead as the main characters in the story.
Draco is seen in the story as a much different person from the other seven parts. The traumas of his Death Eater days had humbled him, bringing him to leave the past behind. He marries Astoria, who later dies due to her family's blood curse. Draco becomes a responsible father, caring for and looking after his son, Scorpius, at every step.
Draco remains bitter towards Harry, Hermione, and Ron, taking jabs at them as they hint at approaching dangers. However, when Albus and Scorpius go missing in the story, he actively joins the trio in search of his and Harry's son.
Draco becomes more understanding of the trio and supports Albus and Scorpius' friendship. He goes the extra mile to convince Harry about their children's friendship despite their past. He also helps them in defeating Voldemort's daughter, Delphi, to rescue Albus and Scorpius.
Having seen Tom as Draco in the movie series, his role as a father in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be a new experience for the viewers.
