In a delightful nod to hip-hop history, renowned rapper DaBaby has recreated the iconic fishing photo of fellow rap legend Boosie Badazz. On May 24, 2024, DaBaby shared an Instagram story featuring a post originally shared by Boosie. The post on Boosie Badazz's Instagram handle depicted DaBaby with six fish lying next to each other alongside a doodled flag of a fish. In the photo, DaBaby is seen holding a notebook with the number "7" written on it.

As soon as the picture was posted, fans revisited Boosie Badazz's original fishing photo, which was posted on Instagram on April 6, 2024. This rekindled significant attention towards both images.

Last week, on Friday, May 24, a story shared by DaBaby gained significant attention as he recreated the fishing photo of Boosie Badazz from early April 2024. The picture, taken at an undisclosed location, features DaBaby in a similar pose to Boosie, fish lined up, and a notebook with his massive hunt written on it.

Boosie also posted DaBaby's photo on his Instagram handle on May 25, which made many netizens revisit Boosie's original post.

"Boosie done started a damn fishing 🎣 challenge; there's not about to be a fish left," one fan wrote in the comments section of Boosie's May 25 post.

Moreover, on May 27, 2024, Boosie jokingly tweeted that he has sparked a trend of fishing as he has noticed an increase in people engaging in fishing.

On April 9, 2024, Boosie Badazz celebrated his massive fishing success by lining up his impressive catch on the floor alongside three large coolers. Seated on one of the coolers and holding a notebook with "126" written on it, Boosie captioned the Instagram post as —

"MR.126 🎣," Boosie wrote.

Soon after, on the same day, the rapper posted a video responding to his fans suggesting that now all he eats is a fish, and he is now a "fishaterian."

"STOP PLAYIN WITH A FISHATERIAN🎣😉 my fishin videos will be on BOOSIEUNCUT MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL TODAY SUBSCRIBE NOW," Boosie wrote.

He then posted another video the same day; in a captionless video, the rapper suggested that his fishing activity garnered attention, saying, "Don't get mad at me!"

"Woke up a lot of people in they feelings about me catching fish. Don't get mad at me! Rest of the year, all fishing season, all I'm eating is fish. I'm a fishaterian. God told you he gon' put hooks in they jaws!"

Torence Ivy Hatch Jr. is an American rapper. He is popularly known by his stage name, Boosie BadAzz or Boosie. Boosie began his rapping career in the 1990s as a Southern hip-hop collective Concentration Camp member. He rose to prominence with his solo debut album, Youngest of da Camp, and began his solo career in 2000.

Boosie's most recent 2024 is Top 5 from his album In House 2: Boosie and the Beast, released on February 9, 2024. It has a total of 14 tracks collaborated with Jit The Beast, the Musical artist.

Meanwhile, DaBaby dropped the mixtape GHETTO SUPERSTAR: THE INTRO on May 3, 2024. It has three tracks, two of which are solo and one featuring the rapper Skilla Baby.
