Destroy Lonely reportedly seen getting into an argument with his girlfriend at a gas station before police arrive

American rapper Destroy Lonely was reportedly spotted getting into an argument with his girlfriend at a Shell-V Power gas station. The moment was caught on camera and also featured police arriving at the venue.

The video, which went viral online, appeared to be shot through a car window and was shared by user @arkywtf on X. It featured Destroy Lonely shouting at someone at a gas station. He constantly asked someone to open the door while the one shooting the clip claimed he was with his girlfriend who "locked him out." The video recorder also claimed the rapper was “beating up his girl.”

"Open the door! Open the door! F*ck you," the rapper was heard saying in the clip.

Towards the end of the video, police were seen arriving on the scene. A woman was also spotted at the end who presumably may have been his girlfriend.

Destroy Lonely has previously been accused of physical and mental abuse charges by his ex-girlfriend. It is unclear whether his current girlfriend, who was in the video with the rapper, is the same person.

Destroy Lonely was accused of alleged domestic violence by a former girlfriend

In June 2024, Georgia-based rapper Destroy Lonely, originally named Bobby Wardell Sandimanie III, faced alleged domestic abuse charges from his ex-girlfriend.

In a series of since-deleted tweets posted on June 24, 2024, X user @ayishamia accused Lonely of allegedly physically and mentally abusing her on multiple occasions during their relationship. The user claimed that Lonely "cracked her head open in Germany after pushing her into a bed frame." She shared images of her supposed head injury as well.

She further alleged that he slammed her on the floor in front of security guards, slapped her in an Uber, and verbally abused her. She added that Destroy Lonely allegedly threw her things outside because she was tired and did not want to roll a joint. She added:

"Last time i tweet he say I do it for clout - but baby boy u knew who I was before...I ever knew you and out whole relationship you been trying to break me apart for having a life before I started dating you. Then wanna hang w people I been around n talk sh*t about me. You weird."

She further added that Lonely allegedly verbally abused her for the entire duration of a 21-hour flight, hit and choked her, and then called her mom to "play the victim." Moreover, she claimed that Lonely called her names every time she posted something he allegedly did not want her to post. She also accused the rapper of playing "manipulation games" and then "trying to blame her."

"Everybody knows the true story": Destroy Lonely responded to domestic abuse accusations by former girlfriend

In a series of since-deleted tweets on X, Destroy Lonely responded to the abuse allegations put forward by his former girlfriend. He quoted @ayishamia's tweets, writing:

"Everybody know the true story not doing no clout cap for you."

He added:

"Everybody know me in real life knows this ain't facts or me im not proving myself to the internet or no woman."

Lonely claimed his former girlfriend "beat him 100 times" and is talking about a "fake a*s injury." He also claimed he never "cracked open" anyone's skull and those in doubt should ask his manager.

Destroy Lonely's album Love Lasts Forever, which was released earlier this year, peaked atop the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart in 2024. It was also his second studio album release.
