Sean "Diddy" Combs' ex-girlfriend, who is testifying under the pseudonym "Jane," retook the stand on Wednesday. This is the fifth day of her testimony in the rapper's federal racketeering and sex trafficking trial. Earlier in her testimony, Jane provided a detailed account of s*x and drug-fueled "hotel nights," which allegedly involved male prostitutes and were orchestrated by Combs.
On June 10, the defense initiated the cross-examination of Jane and presented text messages exchanged between Combs and Jane in court. The defense continued the cross-examination on Wednesday, and the jury was shown text messages exchanged after Jane's birthday celebration in 2023.
As per CNN, Jane told the jury that she had a s*xual encounter with three male "entertainers" during the celebration. The message reportedly read:
"Loved and appreciated every detail you put into my bday."

However, she told the jury that she was referring to gifts and the time she spent with Diddy. Jane further shared with the court that she was hurt after she found out that Combs lied to her and took another woman on a birthday trip immediately after celebrating her birthday, the outlet reported.
"After being made to have sex with three guys... equally hurtful and emotional for me to see him with another woman on a beautiful vacation," Jane testified.

As per ABC News, the defense tried to establish on Tuesday that Jane was a willing participant in these "hotel nights." NBC News reported that the defense showed the jury a series of texts suggesting that Jane initiated some of these "hotel nights." The defense lawyer asked her if she had proposed such a night with two other men.
"Yes, that was my suggestion, Combs was excited about that," Jane answered.
As per CNN, Jane stated in court that she got upset when she saw Diddy with another woman on a trip shortly after her birthday, and called Combs back a day early. She sent a message to him, which reportedly read:
"If you don't come here now, we're not gonna do anything that you want to do."
The outlet reported that Jane also mentioned that when Diddy returned early, she planned a "hotel night" for Valentine's Day, which also included two male "entertainers." She claimed that this was the first time she had done such a thing.
The jury was presented with texts from July 2022, in which Combs asked Jane to contact a specific "entertainer." Reportedly, the next day, Jane dropped a message to Combs telling him that "last night was amazing," as per CNN. The jury then viewed messages from around her 2023 birthday. Jane testified that she had asked Diddy for $15,000 on her birthday for a dinner and other gifts.
As per CNN, Jane also testified that Diddy planned a "hotel night" for her birthday.
"My circumstances were my options in this relationship. If I see him, there is a request for a 'hotel night,' so I'm just adapting to my circumstances — I'm adapting to my environment. So, yes, there were moments I suggest or organize things under the pressures of my lover, yes," Jane testified.
As per ABC News, during Wednesday's trial, Judge Arun Subramanian monitored an issue with a juror raised by the prosecution. However, the issue has not been made public. The prosecution claimed that one of the jurors showed "lack of candor" in the court, while the defense accused the prosecution of using a "thinly veiled effort to dismiss a Black juror."
