Sean "Diddy" Combs' former girlfriend, going by the pseudonym "Jane," was cross-examined on June 10, 2025, in his ongoing federal trial. While the rapper's attorneys presented text messages exchanged between the two that suggested that she fantasized about the sexual acts, Jane told the jurors that she "resented" Diddy. As per reports by ABC News, during the cross-examination, she claimed that she liked spending time with her former partner. Meanwhile, the defense attempted to highlight the benefits that Jane possibly enjoyed while being with Combs. Teny Geragos suggested that Jane was jealous that Combs gave gifts to other women. To highlight her point, Teny Geragos asked her about a Bottega bag. "I'm sure you have one," Jane replied.Geragos then said that she didn't have one and went on asking Jane about the price of a Bottega bag. "How much does my body cost?" Jane asked in return.Judge Arun Subramanian then intervened and directed Jane to answer the question posed to her. For the unversed, a Bottega Veneta bag can cost anywhere between $1,100 to $61,000, according to their official website. They are a Milan-based luxury fashion house established back in 1966. According to Jane, she felt immense pressure to impress the rapper while they were romantically involved. These claims came after Jane accused Combs of abusing her sexually, physically, as well as psychologically. During her direct testimony, Jane reportedly said that she was manipulated by Combs to be a part of his lifestyle.Teny Geragos highlighted the fact that Diddy had invested about $20K in Jane's swimwear brand and line of dressesApart from asking about the Bottega bag, Teny Geragos also highlighted that Diddy had made an investment of $20,000 in a swimwear brand and clothing line apparently belonging to Jane. Geragos further asked Jane if she had profited from that business. To this, Jane responded by saying "a little bit."Diddy's lawyer then asked the ex-girlfriend if he had even asked her to return the money. Jane ended up testifying that no such sort of communication was ever made from Combs' end.As per reports by ABC News, Geragos further brought Jane's residence to the jurors' attention. She asked about the LA house, which, according to Jane, covered more than 5,000 sq. feet. She reportedly testified that this was much bigger than her previous 1,400 sq. feet residence, where she lived before the rapper began paying her rent.As aforementioned, Teny tried to establish that Jane was jealous of what Diddy was gifting other women. The defense attorney presented a message in which Jane apparently asked Combs if he had gifted a Chanel bag to another girlfriend. When asked by Teny if she got one as well, Jane responded by saying that she only got trauma. The defense then referred to the Bottega bag, which eventually led Jane to ask for a break.Sean "Diddy" Combs' trial began last month and was set to continue for about two months.
