While her real identity had not been publicly disclosed, fans speculated that she could be Daphne Joy, 50 Cent's ex-girlfriend. According to XXL, during her testimony, Jane mentioned issues between Combs and her child's father.
Many assumed she was possibly talking about the long-standing beef between Diddy and 50 Cent. These speculations prompted DJ Akademiks to react. In a livestream aired on June 5, Akademiks appeared visibly stunned at the possibility that the secret witness could be Joy. He continued:

For the unversed, Inner City Press reported that Jane testified about going to the Turks and Caicos Islands with Diddy. She apparently claimed to have stayed in Turks for nine days and spent six days in the Bahamas.
While speculations about Jane's identity have been fueling, there has been no confirmation that she is Daphne Joy.

Speculations about Jane being 50 Cent's former girlfriend Daphne Joy intensified after the rapper shared a post on Instagram. The post featured a photo of himself holding his son, with the caption:
"WTF!"
This prompted many netizens to react to the post and further speculate that Jane was indeed Daphne Joy. This isn't the first time that Daphne has been linked to Diddy. Last year, in an amended lawsuit filed by Rodney Jones, she was listed as one of Combs' s*x workers.
