Gregg Wallace recently stepped down from MasterChef after accusations of his alleged bad behavior on the set came to light. Furthermore, he was accused of harassing a female ghostwriter who was working with Wallace on his autobiography.

Although the 60-year-old hasn't been fired, the investigations have jeopardized his future at the show, with BBC already pulling Christmas special episodes that feature him from Masterchef's lineup.

Snoop Dogg recently discussed exploring his culinary passions at Masterchef in a recent interview with Daily Mirror. In a report published on December 7, the California rapper said:

“You better believe Snoop could be the new MasterChef judge. My boy Gordon [Ramsay] judges on the U.S. version of the show, and I know he would back me to be able to judge on the U.K. version. He knows I’m not playing when it comes to food. He knows I can cook—I have even given him some tips.”

He added:

“I’ve always been vocal about wanting to work on a U.K. show. I love the place—and for real, this could be the perfect opportunity.”

Fans across the internet have expressed their opinion on Snoop Dogg's desire to become a MasterChef judge. Some popular reactions on X read:

"Go easy on the herbs, Snoop :-)," a fan wrote on X.

"Must be broke," one fan theorized on X.

Netizens also came up with alternatives to Snoop Dogg.

"No disrespect to Snoop but the perfect candidate is @AdamRichman #Richman4Masterchef," a fan commented.
"Will Smith should replace him," wrote another.

Some netizens, meanwhile, criticized the California rapper.

"His past lyrics and videos are a model of morality compared to our Gregg," a fan opined.
"Snoop owns a p*rn company and Wallace used innuendo. That's the state of our world right now," another inferred on X.

Snoop Dogg had previously hosted a cooking show in the United States called Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party.

Meanwhile, Gregg Wallace's lawyers have denied the allegations against their client, stating:

“It is entirely false that [Wallace] engages in behavior of a s*xually harassing nature.”
