Hurricane Chris has recently bashed 50 Cent, aka Curtis Jackson III, alleging him for not inviting local artists to his Humor & Harmony Festival in Shreveport. However, Jackson didn't seemingly take Chris' allegations against him seriously. He shared a now-removed post on Instagram, and wrote,
"Hurricane Flex,” he wrote alongside a snippet from Juice. “Boy ya s### is wack, the f### you think you @fredobang. Ya s### gets no play in my ride. LOL."
Later, Fredo Bang also defended Jackson and called Hurricane Chris out through a clip on his Instagram story, and wrote a caption which read:
"Hurricane! If he didn’t put no Louisiana artists, Louisiana legends, who the f### I am then?"

Fredo defending Jackson caught netizens' attention, who further took to social media to express their views. Here are some of the responses:

One user tweeted:
"Some people just be talking to be talking."
"Look like hurricane open his mouth to soon," added another tweet.
Several other netizens who reacted on social media had different perspectives on the issue related to 50 Cent. One wrote,
"Yea you good but to be real you not a Louisiana legend yet my boy 😂😂."
"I have no idea. I have never seen you or heard of you before," added a tweet.
"Never heard of this dude," commented another netizen.
"Don’t nobody listen to no damn fredo bang 😭talking bout a legend," mentioned another tweet.
Fredo Bang reportedly defended 50 Cent after Hurricane Chris criticized him for not inviting local artists from Louisiana
50 Cent's Humor & Harmony Festival was expected to be held in Louisiana from August 8 to August 11. While fans enjoyed the lineup of the event, Jackson also received criticism regarding the same. For instance, last week, American comedian Luenell criticized the event for not having female comedians.
This made 50 Cent reveal that he was interested in including her as a part of the event, however, she was not available. Like Luenell, Hurricane Chris was another artist who expressed their dissatisfaction towards the event lineup. According to Chris, the rapper didn't concentrate much on local artists.
In a clip, as reported by HotNewHipHop, Chris said,
"That money could've went to help the motherf*cking youth. We don't need more money invested into the police."
Later Hurricane Chris even responded to Fredo Bang's reaction to his initial rant. In the comment section of the post uploaded by Neighborhood Talk, Chris clarified his stance and said that he particularly meant artists from Shreveport and not from Louisiana as a whole. In the clip, Chris further spoke about 50 Cent and described him as a "culture vulture."
According to Hurricane Chris, the rapper was trying to "profit from a city" that he knew nothing about. Several artists had been a part of the event including Katt Williams, Fredo Bang, Skilla Baby, Yung Bleu, and Muni Long, to name a few of them.
