Chris Brown and Drake feud began in 2012 in New York City nightclub

While Drake’s feud with Kendrick Lamar has been a major talking point, Chris Brown’s recent video rapping the lyrics of Not Like Us has reignited discussions about his feud with Drizzy back in 2012. According to Business Insider, the feud began in a New York City nightclub when Drake was friends with Rihanna, who at the time happened to be Chris Brown’s ex.

The altercation allegedly started when Brown sent over a bottle of champagne for Drake as a peace offering, however, Drizzy sent it back with a note talking about Rihanna. As per the publication, this outraged the two singers, who then ended up hitting each other. Allegedly, the two threw glasses and bottles at each other, which even left Chris Brown hurt, with minor injuries.

As Brown’s latest video continues to go viral, it has brought in several reactions from the masses. However, as of now, neither Brown nor Drake have addressed the video or their 2012 feud.
