On June 13, 2025, BTS' Kim Taehyung's track Singularity sold over one million units in the United States, leaving the fandom proud. The song is now eligible for RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) platinum certification.

For those unversed, Singularity was released on May 7, 2018. It was part of the album Love Yourself: Tear and was released through Big Hit Entertainment. It was later unveiled for the second time on August 24, 2018, as part of the group's compilation album Love Yourself: Answer.

Subsequently, V's latest milestone for Singularity circulated on social media and went viral among the fandom. They expressed pride in him, and an X user tweeted:

On June 10, 2025, BTS' Kim Taehyung gave a heartfelt speech during the military discharge ceremony. He expressed gratitude to the fandom for waiting for him. He also wished that his comrades would not get hurt during the military service. He mentioned:

"Firstly, after I arrived in the military, I think it became a time for me to focus once again on my body and mind. And I have now reshaped my body and mind and I want to run to ARMYs without wasting a day. To all the ARMYs who waited as they did during our military service, I want to tell you all that I'm really grateful, that I'm truly grateful."

He further mentioned that since his return to society, he wants to work hard and become an admirable person.

"Our Double Dragon Military Police Special Duty Team, Military Police Anti-Terrorism Unit, our executive officers, and brave soldiers, thank you so much for taking such good care of me. I will go into society and I will work hard as someone who is good and really admirable. Thank you."

BTS' Kim Taehyung and Kim Namjoon were discharged from the mandatory military service on June 10, 2025.
