On April 22, 2024, Dion gave a health update to Vogue France. She stated that while she hopes for a cure someday, she has learned to live with SPS. The singer shared that she receives athletic, physical, and vocal therapy five days a week. She told the media outlet that she had two choices: either accept her reality and stay at home or train hard like "an athlete."

"Life doesn't give you any answers. You just have to live it! I have this illness for some unknown reason. The way I see it, I have two choices. Either I train like an athlete and work super hard, or I switch off and it's over, I stay at home, listen to my songs, stand in front of my mirror and sing to myself," Celine Dion said.
