The hashtag "SaveYe" has taken social media by storm as concerned fans poured in their support for Kanye West following alarming reports about his health.

On August 7, 2024, Ye's former chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, who served for Kanye West from 2022 to early 2024, alleged Ye's reduced activity in releasing music and clothing is because of a series of reasons, with the most serious involving his dentist, Thomas Connelly. He alleged that Ye is struggling with an addiction to nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas —

"There is a reason Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is no longer capable of successfully releasing music or clothing. In fact, there are several reasons. But the most serious and the most recent is his dentist, Thomas Connelly. 🧵"

As per ADF, inhaling nitrous oxide can be fatal if a person does not get enough oxygen. Also, it can make them feel detached from their body and is hazardous to inhale.

"If your a real Ye fan get him of nitrous. It would be sad to see a goat fall to a horrible addiction. People die and are permanently f**ked up because of nitrous. #SaveYe," one wrote.
"It's f**king depressing seeing one of my favourite artists falling off because his dentist is suppling him with a drug that's killing him. #SaveYe," another on X.

In a series of tweets on Wednesday, Yiannopoulos accused Kanye West's dentist of supplying him with the gas so that he could "extract millions of dollars" from Ye—

"Connelly got Ye hooked on nitrous—laughing gas. It is my belief that Connelly sought to diminish Ye's mental faculties so that Connelly and his business associates could extract millions of dollars from him," Yiannopoulos on X.

Yiannopoulos, who resigned from his position earlier this year, suggested on X that he had intervened and uncovered fraud involving addiction. According to Yiannopoulos, this revelation severely strained his relationship with Kanye West, ultimately leading to his resignation.

He further alleged on X that Thomas Connelly is a "dangerous predator" who targets African-American celebrities. He further noted that he had filed a complaint with the California Dental Board last week regarding the matter.

Yiannopoulos shared a textual and audio version of his affidavit and further suggested that there is some evidence in his audio affidavit.

As per TMZ, Thomas Connelly denied Milo Yiannopoulos' allegations on August 7, 2024, and suggested that he was making up the story for attention. Connelly suggested that Yiannopoulos's claims are "not only factually incorrect but also intentionally misleading."

The dentist further suggested that Yiannopoulos was attempting to damage his professional reputation. Connelly said that he is committed to providing the highest and best standard of care for his patients and will continue to do so regardless of any attack on his reputation.

As the #SaveYe movement continues to gain momentum, it is important to note that Kanye West still has to address the alleged nitrous oxide addiction claims.
