On Wednesday, June 11, BTS' Jimin and Jungkook were discharged from the South Korean Army following the successful completion of their mandatory military enlistment. After the discharge, the two members kickstarted a Weverse livestream as their agency, BigHit Music, threw them a 'Welcome Back' party.

During the same time, the two members talked about their several experiences in the military. At one point, Jungkook raised his hand to touch Jimin's face. However, when Jungkook's hand came close to the idol's face, Jimin slightly flinched before he realised that Jungkook was trying to rub the back of his neck as a sign of affection.
Many fans couldn't help but ponder the idol's reaction and talked about how it could've been a response to what he might've experienced during his enlistment period. The exact reason behind his flinch, however, is unknown. Here are a few fan reactions regarding the same,

BTS' Jimin or Park Jimin is a South Korean singer and dancer who debuted under Big Hit Entertainment in 2013. He stands under the Vocal Line of the K-pop boy group, which also includes the members Jin, Jungkook, and V.
During the idol's time as a BTS member, he's rolled a few solo tracks through the group's album, such as Lie, Filter, Serendipity, etc. He has also put forth some independent tracks on SoundCloud like Promise and Christmas Love. His official solo debut, however, was in March 2023, with the release of his first album, FACE.
The album held the song, Like Crazy, as its title track.
