American Idol winner Nick Fradiani is all set to lead the 'A Beautiful Noise' North American tour. The musician, who currently stars as Neil Diamond on Broadway's A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical will lead the production's multi-year tour which begins in the fall of this year and will encompass 25 cities in the first year itself.
The singer took on the leading role of a young Neil Diamond in 2023. The decision to lead the tour was announced during the American Idol season finale on Sunday, May 19. The musical premiered in November 2022 and saw Fradiani occasionally play the role of a young Neil Diamond. However, when Will Swenson left the musical in October 2023, Nick Fradiani officially became the lead. The production is all set to close on June 30.
However, right after it closes on Broadway, A Beautiful Noise will go on a multi-year North American tour with none other than Nick Fradiani in the lead. The tour will start during the fall of this year at Providence, Rhode Island's Providence Performing Arts Center.
The decision was confirmed during the season 22 finale of American Idol, which took place on Sunday night, May 19. Nine years after winning American Idol, Nick Fradiani appeared on the show to perform Neil Diamond's America and Sweet Caroline with a few of the show's finalists.
