British rapper Central Cee's ex-girlfriend, Madeline Argy, recently took to TikTok and shared several posts accusing the rapper of cheating on her with Ice Spice. In the posts dated July 12, 2024, she mentioned in her story that the rapper snitched on himself when he played a verse from the song titled Did It First, which marked his collaboration with Ice Spice.
Madeline also posted a screenshot of her chat with Cee wherein he asked her to use the same caption as Ice Spice, giving fans a lot of material to react on. Fans of the rapper took to X to give their opinion on Madeline's claims and one of the fans wrote:
"Those messages are so unserious BYEEE"
"This is teaaaaa omg he was using her badddddd," an X user wrote.
"He wanted her to promote his song w the girl he cheated with???? diabolical," another user said.
On the other hand, some of the rapper's fans also tried to defend him:
"Public speculation and gossip can often overshadow the real issues, so it's essential to approach such stories with caution and not jump to conclusions based on unverified information," a fan commented.
"I feel like these girls love the drama low key. What are the odds of a guy like Central Cee is actually willing to not cheat and settle down. And then you willingly try to date him. Math ain’t mathing imo but idk," another fan wrote.
"She’s not standing up she’s chasing clout lol could’ve just kept this to herself. People have really turned shame to content," a fan wrote.
"She reminds me of me a bit" — Central Cee commented on Ice Spice
In the recent TikTok posts wherein Madeline narrated the story of how Central Cee cheated on her with Ice Spice, she mentioned that he justified the lyrics of Did It First. She claimed that it was merely a marketing scheme at the time as the lyrics read:
"If he cheatin', I'm doin' him worse (Like)/No Uno, I hit the reverse (Grrah)/I ain't trippin', the grip in my purse"
Moreover, Madeline Argy claimed that the rapper wanted to fuel such rumors to promote his song with Ice Spice deliberately, given he also took his ex-girlfriend on a trip to Nigeria sometime before the song was released. Additionally, Ice Spice and Cee were spotted driving his Lamborghini in London in July 2024, sparking dating speculations between the two.
In an interview with Complex Magazine dated October 2023, Central Cee commented on his perception of Ice Spice and stated:
“She reminds me of me a bit. She’s cool innit. Humble, down to earth, don’t really care too much about the shiny stuff, but knows how to play the game."
The rapper added that he appreciates Ice Spice's qualities because some people don't know what they're doing or take opportunities for granted, but Ice Spice is running with the opportunities she has.
In the same interview, Ice Spice counter-appreciated Cee and stated that they have become "good friends over the past year" ever since the two collaborated on Munch [Remix].
Madeline Argy also alleged that the rapper cheated on her with influencer Leah Halton in the past as well. While her TikTok posts have taken over the internet with fans dropping their two cents on the same, Central Cee or Ice Spice haven't commented on the same.
