American musician and producer Tim Lambesis is currently trending online after multiple concerning videos of him surfaced on November 26. They showed the As I Lay Dying frontman having heated verbal exchanges with his wife, Dany Ciara, which often took a physical turn.

Amid this, he released a lengthy statement on Instagram on November 27, claiming his wife “abused” him over the years, and the footages were shared online in “retaliation” after he recently filed for divorce.

“There is currently a restraining order and a domestic violence investigation being filed against Dany Norris (formerly Lambesis). Anything she is saying now is to distract people away from that to instead focus on my own inappropriate (but not illegal) reactions to these anxiety-inducing interactions,” Tim wrote.

He further continued:

“This woman assaulted me and verbally/mentally abused me over 3 years. I took the much-needed and overdue step to leave her yesterday by delivering divorce papers. That is the reason there have been attempts at retaliation toward me online today that pale in comparison to what will really be the focus of the courts.”

Lambesis also shared a list of evidence seemingly proving his allegations against his wife. Notably, the 44-year-old had been married twice before Dany Ciara.

All you need to know about Tim Lambesis’ marriages

Tim Lambesis was married to his first wife Meggan Murphy from June 2004 to August 2012, and split after he confessed to having an affair with another woman. Their divorce was filed in San Diego in September of that year.

In May 2013, the Austrian Death Machine member was arrested in California for attempting to hire a hitman to murder his estranged first wife and was charged with “soliciting an undercover detective to kill his wife.” While he initially pled not guilty, in February 2014, he admitted his guilt and was sentenced to six years in prison. However, he served two and half years before his early parole in late 2016.

During their time together, Tim and Meggan adopted three kids from Ethiopia, two daughters and a son.

In May 2015, Tim Lambesis married his second wife Amanda Dubord while he was in prison. At the time, he shared that Amanda was his “source of strength.” Not much is known about Dubord and it remains unclear when exactly they parted ways.

In late 2021, Tim Lambesis began dating model Dany Ciara, and the pair got engaged in April 2022. Two months later, on June 4, they tied the knot in a “small ceremony on the beach with the help of close family and friends.” At the time, he shared photos of their nuptials on Instagram and called Dany his “best friend.”

Exploring the recent videos featuring Tim Lambesis and his third wife

Earlier this week, two anonymously shared videos emerged online showing Tim Lambesis altercating with his third wife, Dany Ciara. The first one, which had no audio, showed the couple in a bedroom sharing a tense conversation, with the singer appearing to be yelling.

As Dany Ciara tried to confront him, he was seen moving towards her for a few seconds, before pulling back. Subsequently, he was seen angrily kicking a suitcase, shaking his fists, and continuing to scream. When he returns to the bed, he repeatedly bangs his forehead with his fist and punches his own arm, before noticing a recording device on the nightstand and taking it away. It was shared on Vimeo but later went viral on X.

In a follow-up video, the couple is seen having another fight in an outdoor porch area. It begins with Tim Lambesis overturning a table and Dany Ciara cussing him back, before trying to walk away. However, he stops her and tries to profess his love. When she continues to move away, he, like in the first video, appears to strike himself, as she pursues him and begs him to stop. Notably, the time and place where the clips were shot remain unknown.

In the wake of these viral videos, Tim Lambesis addressed the matter via social media.

“The timing of these public attacks online are because I served her with divorce papers yesterday after many days of her pleading for me stay while also flipping back and forth to attempting to exert abusive control. This is blatantly a retaliation for me finally leaving a relationship I should have run from a long time ago,” he wrote.

The vocalist also mentioned that he reportedly has multiple evidence against his wife and held her responsible for domestic violence. He has claimed assault, threats with weapons, and more against Dany Ciara. The Through Storms Ahead crooner also pointed out that the videos online showed his “anxiety-filled reactions and defenses,” which were allegedly different from his abuse at the hands of his third wife.
