Following a runner-up finish at the 2025 NCAA Championships, Jordan Chiles is set to lead the UCLA Bruins into their second year in the Big Ten Conference. The 24-year-old shared a motivating message ahead of the Division 1 athletic conference.
On Wednesday, June 11, the UCLA gymnastics team announced its conference opponents and destinations for the upcoming season. UCLA joined the conference in the 2025 season and won both the regular season and championship titles in its inaugural Big Ten year.
Jordan Chiles and teammate Brooklyn Moors both earned perfect 10.0s on floor routines, while Ciena Alipio scored a perfect 10 on balance beam, making UCLA the first team in Big Ten history with three different gymnasts scoring 10s in a single conference championship.
Recently, Jordan Chiles reposted the 2026 Big Ten schedule and added a note that read:
“Y’all ready!!! Let’s go even bigger next season!!”
According to the schedule, UCLA will compete at home against Washington, Nebraska, and Michigan. Then travel to face Illinois, Minnesota, and Michigan State. They will also host the Big Four meet, welcoming Ohio State, Iowa, and Maryland.

In the previous season, UCLA went undefeated (9–0) in Big Ten dual meets and posted a record-breaking 198.450 at the conference finals in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It was a historic debut in the Big Ten, making the Bruins the first UCLA team to win both the regular season and conference championship titles in their first year in a new conference.
Jordan Chiles reflects on her 2025 NCAA Championship event title

Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles closed out the 2025 season by helping UCLA finish second overall at the NCAA Championships. She also clinched individual gold on the uneven bars for the second consecutive year.
In a recent interview with People, Chiles shared her excitement over defending her event title:
“It definitely was an amazing experience. I’m one of the only athletes that’s ever won back-to-back event titles on bars. So, I think it was really cool to see that I made history again and that I had that opportunity. It just makes me hungry for more. If I can do it twice, maybe I can do it three times, four times—as many times as my body allows it. I really had fun with it and I wouldn’t change the world for anything that happened,” Chiles said.
The full 2026 Big Ten schedule, including dates and times, will be released later. As a team, the UCLA Bruins women's gymnastics posted a 24–3 overall record in 2025, including their 9–0 Big Ten run.
