NFL receiver Tyreek Hill hasn't forgotten the much-awaited clash between him and Olympic champion Noah Lyles. However, his attempt to take a dig at the race between Lyles and Youtuber Darren Jason Watkins Jr., aka IShowSpeed backfired with the latter challenging him for a race.

The 19-year-old YouTuber had challenged the 100m Olympic champion for a friendly 50m dash, sponsored by another YouTuber, James Stephen Donaldson, aka Mr Beast for a grand prize of $100,000. IShowSpeed ran well, keeping neck-to-neck with Lyles before the latter edged him out in the final few meters.

However, Hill mocked Lyles over this race and posted on his X handle,

"And track athletes think he gone beat me 😂😂😂"

Lyles responded to the comment as he wrote,

"Awww feeling left out. I’ll dance across the line on you too 😉"

IShowSpeed joined the conversation, challenging Hill to overcome him first. He posted,

"lmao he’s scared to race me but he’s trying to race u, tyreek u gotta get through me first😂"

Tyreek Hill challenged Noah Lyles for a race when the latter made some controversial comments about the status of NBA players as 'world champions'. He even mocked the American sprinter when he missed the Olympic gold medal in the men's 200m at the Paris Olympics.

Initially, Lyles dismissed the NFL wide receiver as an attention seeker. However, when Hill continued to pester him, Lyles eventually agreed to a one-on-one race, which would be conducted next year as a part of the 'Super Serious on Sight' series, hosted by Terry Crews.

YouTuber MrBeast had challenged IShowSpeed for a friendly race with Noah Lyles, which was accepted by both. Lyles and the 19-year-old YouTuber would run a 50m dash together, for a grand prize of $100000.

The race turned out to be intense, where IShowSpeed gave tough competition before Lyles finally won. Mr. Beast shared a photograph of the event on Instagram with the caption,

"@ishowspeed vs @nojo18 for 100k! Lots of other big names as well, November 30th is our biggest video ever. Can’t wait :) "

However, the banter didn't stop. IShowSpeed termed this race as a tie and posted a video on Instagram with the caption,

""FASTEST MAN ALIVE 🏃🏾💨 #ishowspeed vs #noahlyles"

Lyles continued the conversation with compliments as he posted on Instagram,

"@ishowspeed wanted that tie so bad 😭"

Lyles recounted his experience on his X handle [formerly Twitter] as he wrote,

"Well that was fun"

Noah Lyles is enjoying his off-season after winning a gold medal in the men's 100m and a bronze medal in the men's 200m at the Paris Olympics. He is now preparing for the upcoming athletic season of 2025.
