Simone Biles made a sensational return to the Olympics at the 2024 Paris Games, claiming three golds and one silver medal. On top of the medals won at the Bercy Arena, Biles will also walk away with hefty prize money, thanks to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

Competing at the Paris Olympics, Biles started her campaign in great fashion, aiding Team USA to win the women’s team all-around. She then proceeded to claim top honors in the individual all-around.

Biles picked up another gold in the vault before bagging silver in the floor exercise. Brazilian Rebeca Andrade got gold the day, winning with 14.166 points ahead of Biles (14.133 points).

She finished fifth on the balance beam, with Italy's Alice D'Amato winning gold in great fashion. Zhou Yaqin of China and Italy's Manila Esposito finished second and third respectively.

The International Olympic Committee does not offer prize money to Olympic medalists. However, several countries have opted to make it a norm to reward their Olympic medallists, including the U.S.

According to Forbes, the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee usually rewards its gold medalists with $37,500. The silver and bronze medalists walk away with $22,500 and $15,000.

If that pattern continues, Biles will walk away with a combined $75,000 for winning individual golds in the vault and all-around events. Team USA is expected to divide the other $37,500 among the team of Biles, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, and Hezly Rivera. For winning the silver medal in the floor exercise, Biles will likely earn $22,500.

Assuming the $37,500 is divided equally among the five winners from the all-round team, Biles would have earned a total of $105,000 from her medals at the Paris Olympics.
