The gymnast and pro dancer pair swayed on a Quickstep to “I’ll Be There for You” by The Rembrandts in the redemption round, for which they received 29 points. The duo went on to earn their first perfect score of the season in the next round.
For the freestyle round, the pair opted for Coldplay's Viva La Vida song, beginning their dance on the pommel horse, giving a special touch to the gymnast's recent achievement at the French capital. The pair flawlessly performed a few elements on the apparatus before taking the stage.
Their performance received widespread praise, with fans flooding social media in admiration of their talent and grace, as one of the fans wrote:

The routine also featured the Paris Olympic medalist performing his skills on the dance floor, which received admiration.
