Veteran American swimmer Michael Phelps recently expressed his reaction to TaylorMade Golf sharing glimpses of their new collection of golf accessories. Based in California, several golf stars such as Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy have used TaylorMade's products.
Similar to several top retired sportsmen around the world, such as Michael Jordan, Phelps also has a very notable interest in the sport of golf. He is occasionally seen around the golf course and has also featured in several tournaments such as the 2021 BMW Championships.
Owing to this interest in golf, Phelps was elated with the new Heritage Collection of TaylorMade Golf for the Summer Commemorative in Pittsburgh. TaylorMade Golf shared a post on their Instagram handle that featured several accessories such as kit bags, bats, etc.

Phelps reacted to the post and dropped a few emojis expressing his excitement for the collection. He commented:

Phelps also shared the post on her Instagram stories and dropped a couple of heart emojis.
Notably, the former American swimmer was also recently seen at the golf course, spending some time with equipment expert Chris Trott.
Michael Phelps opens up about the individual quality that helped him in playing other sports
Michael Phelps shared the qualities that helped him play a different sport, like golf, after navigating one of the most successful careers in swimming. Speaking in an interview last year, Phelps said that preparation and confidence are some of the things that have helped him on the gold course.
Additionally, he also mentioned that despite the qualities, the trickiness of golf can sometimes challenge the player mentally. He said (via Golf.com):
"I think confidence. I think that goes a long way. I was always confident in the swimming pool, which meant I got the results that I wanted, most of the time. Preparation is something that’s always important."
"So if I have the confidence factor and I believe I can do something, then I feel like that’s kinda really all it is. And I know that sounds really simple. But there are days where I feel like you get in your head, especially in the game of golf," he added.
During the conversation, Michael Phelps also added that he used to get frustrated after his bad shots during the game, but with time, he began to focus more on the basics of the sport.
