"Thankyou @oldmilldistrict for having me out!! this venue is EVERYTHING"

The couple took a road trip to attend the concert at an outdoor amphitheatre built in the historic Old Mill district in Bend, Oregon.

The couple also visited the Hawkeye and Huckleberry lounge on their way to the ampitheatre.

Jade Carey reflects back on her favorite memory with Simone Biles

Jade Carey, in an interview with Olympics.com, opened up about her inspiring moment with the Olympic gold medalist and legend Simone Biles. She recalled the moment when Simone Biles was unable to compete in the final events at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Amidst all that struggle when Carey's nerves were high, Biles' uplifting conversation with Carey became her favourite Olympic memory. She said:
"I remember when everything was happening with Simone Biles in Tokyo], and I was maybe going into the all-around final. I was freaking out because I’d never done anything like that before. Simone came to my room and was like, ‘Hey, I can’t do this, but you can. That was just a really powerful moment for me because I knew how much she was going through and for her to still come over and be like, ‘You got this,’ meant a lot to me.."
Carey has been with Oregon State University's gymnastics program for 11 years and has entertained the possibility of returning as the coach for Oregon State.
