After coming out of retirement, Lindsey Vonn registered her first podium finish at the World Cup finals and expressed her desire to compete in the upcoming Winter Olympics in 2026. She shared that it was both a win-win and a lose-lose situation for her, as her friends were competing for a spot in the finals of the Grand Slam.
"This is intense...When your friends compete, it is a win-win and lose-lose situation for me," she wrote.

Vonn had the opportunity to ski with Sinner in his hometown in Italy, had revealed that they had a great time together. The former World Cup champion described Sinner as a shy and humble person who is always super kind. Moreover, Lindsey Vonn shared that he had a great perspective on the sport.
“I always thought it was really special that he was a former ski racer, and that's obviously where we connected. He's a pretty shy guy, but he's really humble and always super kind. I think he has just a great perspective on the sport, and I think to a degree, some of that comes from skiing. We've talked about it quite a few times," she said.
Furthermore, Vonn shared that Jannik Sinner reminded her of Roger Federer and lauded his incredible skills on the tennis court.
