Gabby Thomas has made a hilarious confession about herself while participating in an online trend, and her coach, Bailey Tonja, also added brutal ones. Thomas completed her 2024 season after competing in September's Athlos NYC meet.
Amid her training for the upcoming season, the Olympic champion and her coach had fun on the track partaking in an amusing online trend, 'We listen, we don't judge', and confessing hilarious truths about themselves.
"Sometimes in the middle of the workout when I say I have to go the bathroom, I don't actually have to go. Sometimes when you send workouts to do over the break, I pretend to do them," Gabby Thomas told Tonja.
"Sometimes when I ask 'how do you feel' during a workout, I really don't care. When I say that I am not timing the rep, I am actually timing the rep. I'm definitely timing it," Tonja said in turn.
The two captioned their Instagram post:
"Track edition😂 Disclaimer: This is all jokes!! Do y'all workouts and cool downs!!🤣 "
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Thomas won her first gold medal in the 200m dash, where she clocked 21.83s, trouncing Julien Alfred and Brittany Brown, who recorded a time of 22.08s and 22.20s, respectively. She clinched her second gold in the 4x100m dash and the third in the 4x400m dash.
