America's sprinter Sha'Carri Richardson received a special gift in the form of a Team USA "Coordinates" outfit after qualifying for the Paris Olympics. Coordinates is a brand created by four-time Olympic champion Sanya Richards-Ross and her two-time Super Bowl winning husband, Aaron Ross.
Richardson secured her debut Olympic ticket on in June, winning the 100-meter finals with a time of 10.71 seconds. The 24-year-old redeemed herself from her Tokyo Olympics disappointment in 2020, when her name was removed from the American roster for testing positive for THC (a chemical substance found in cannabis). A one-month ban was imposed on her at the time.
Following the incident, Richardson made a triumphant return to the track, winning the 100m champion title at the 2023 World Athletics Championships. This earned her the tag of world's fastest woman. She then went on to secure bronze in the 200m run at the same event.
Following Richardson's Paris Olympic qualification, Sanya Richards-Ross presented her with a set of hooded Coordinates pyajamas and posted the video of Sha'Carri Richardson's reaction on her Instagram handle.

Extending her gratitude to Richardson, Richards-Ross wrote:

Sha'Carri Richardson's 2023 season not only earned her numerous titles, but recognition among multiple track legends, including Sanya Richards-Ross. Richards-Ross represented the United States at the Olympics thrice. She participated in the 400m run and 4 x 400m relay events. The 39-year-old has five Olympic medals to her name.
Expressing admiration for Richardson, the former track icon said (via NBC DFW):
"She is a superstar. She is dynamic and she's a champion. She stepped on the track last season and really quieted all the noise about her by winning her first world title against one of the toughest fields that could have been assembled."
At the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, Richardson won gold with a sensational 10.65s run. Richards-Ross believes that result will give her tremendous confidence going into the Paris Olympics.
"I think for her and I hope for her, that gave her tremendous confidence because we all know the talent is there."
She also expressed that she thinks Sha'Carri Richardson can follow up her 100m world championship title with an Olympic gold at the Paris Games in Stade de France.
